FUE Hair Transplant Process
People who have a pattern or complete baldness usually lose their
self-confidence and often look FUE Hair Transplant Process for
restoration of hair. Baldness is one of the most common and previous genetic
disorders. In the past, there was no therapy or treatment available, but in the
modern world, restoration surgery is available and enables bald persons to
restore their natural look. In this beautiful world, looking handsome and
beautiful is the fundamental right of everyone. But baldness was the main
hurdle in having a natural look. Nowadays, it is possible to undergo the hair
transplant process to treat baldness. Baldness is a genetic disorder and tends
to run in families. It can occur in both genders, but males suffer the most.
The reason for this dominance is that it is a sex-limited disease. A male
person will be bald if he receives only one gene from his parents. But, a
female can be bald only if she receives baldness genes from both of her
parents. The incidence of this scenario occurring is rare. The person usually
starts losing hair at the age of 40 years. There are some other conditions in
which baldness is also seen. Like the side effects of chemotherapy in case of
cancer treatment. However, these patients are not advised to undergo this
treatment because of a lack of donor site.
There are many procedures available but the most common and easily
available is FUE Hair Transplant Process. The other procedures include the Follicular Unit
Transplant, Hybrid, LASER, Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, and Neograft. Before
undergoing any of the procedures, the surgeon first observes the patient regard
him suitable for the procedure. The surgeon usually examines the donor site. It
is usually the backside of the scalp. In the case of males, the donor site can
be the scalp back side or chest or beard hair. But in females, the donor site
is the scalp backside only. In the next phase, the surgeon examines the scalp
laxity. If the patient has a loose scalp, he is considered fit for undergoing
the surgery. A person with tight scalp laxity is not considered a perfect
person and therefore, in some cases, he is not advised to undergo the surgery.
Before starting any of the above surgery, the physician takes snaps of the
patient's scalp. Then marks the donor and recipient site in the patient scalp.
After that, the surgeon physically marks the areas on the scalp. Then using the
local anaesthesia, the surgeon numbs the scalp.
In the FUE Hair Transplant Process, the physician extracts the
follicles from the donor site and preserves these extracted follicles. Then
using the microscope, the physician extracts these follicles. In the donor
site, the surgeon makes tiny holes using the micro needle. In these holes, the
separated follicles are then placed one by one. This surgery can consist of
single or multiple sessions depending on the number of grafts to be moved. In a
single session of surgery, the grafts moved are usually 2000 to 3000. For more
grafts, more than one session of surgery can be required. The Follicular unit extraction Hair Transplant Process is the most common and easily available treatment. The
advantage of this therapy is that it leaves no linear scar as in the case of
FUT. In FUT, the surgeon cuts the strip from the donor area and then seals the
donor site with stitches and implants this strip at the recipient site. This
leaves a linear scar. In the Hybrid type, both procedures of FUT and FUE are
simultaneously performed. In Laser type, the Laser is used to make tiny holes
and then the surgeon implants the separated follicles in these holes.
FUE Hair Transplant Process cost varies at
different places. The cost highly depends on the number of surgeons in an area,
the skill of the physician, the number of sessions to be followed and the
number of grafts moved. The average international cost of FUE treatment ranges
from $4000 to $15000 in one surgery session. The multiple sessions costs can
reach up to$50000. The patient is advised to take some precautionary measures
before and after the treatment to avoid any complication of surgery. He should
take light exercise instead of heavy exercise. Similarly, he should avoid
alcohol, smoking, direct exposure of sunlight to the operated site, direct
touching or rubbing the operated site. The transplanted hair may fall after
8-10 months and new follicles grow from the roots. A patient may require more
than one transplant treatment during his life.
