Jewelry Lore and Properties

  Pearls are widely used in jewelry . These can be made of glass, precious stones, metals, wood, shells, clay and polymer clay. Pearl jewelry often includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, belts and rings. The smallest types of pearls used are known as pearls, these are pearls used for the “weaving style” of pearl jewelry.  Rocailles are also used in an embroidery technique that involves sewing them onto fabric liners to make wide neck pieces and beaded bracelets. Bead embroidery, a handicraft popular in the Victorian era, is experiencing a renaissance in modern jewelry making.
