Hair Transplantation FUE
Hair Transplantation FUE is the process of
restoration of hair from the donor site to the site where there is no hair
present. In this modern world, where the treatments of many diseases are
present, the treatment for hair thinning or baldness is also present. In the
previous years, the bald people could not undergo the restoration process and
thus lead their lives having only desire to have a natural look but unable to
undergo any practical procedure. Baldness is a sex-limited trait. Though it is
present in both genders, mostly males suffer due to sex-limited trait. Male
will be bald if he receives only one gene from his parents either from his
father or mother. A female will only be bald if she receives genes from both of
her parents. These cases are usually not common and the frequency of occurrence
is very low. Usually, people lose their scalp hair after the age of 40. The
other reason for baldness may be due to stress or excessive application of chemical
ingredients or side effects of some treatment process like chemotherapy. The
person undergoing chemotherapy is not advised to undergo the procedure due to
lack of donor site or other complications.
There are many procedures
for transplant available, including Hair Transplantation FUE. The other treatments
include Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT), Hybrid, Laser, Neo-Graft and PRP
treatment. All these treatments differ somewhat from each other, but the
primary purpose is the restoration of hair. Before undergoing any of the above
procedures, the physician examines the patient to know if the patient is
eligible for undergoing the procedure or not. In this examination, the physician
sees if the patient has enough donor sites. With females, the donor site is
only the backside of the scalp. While in males, the backside of the scalp or
beard or chest hair can be the donor site. Next, the physician looks at the
patient’s scalp laxity. A patient having loose scalp laxity is considered an
ideal person for undergoing the process rather than the patient with a tight
scalp. In FUT, the physician cuts the strip from the donor area and then
implants these on the recipient area. In the Laser technique, the follicles are
extracted and then micro-holes are made using the fine laser beam in the
recipient area. Then the follicles are grafted into these holes. In the
Neograft procedure, the physician uses the wand to extract and place the follicles
using the vacuum creation technique. In this procedure the chances of damaging
the follicles are less and then also the chances of physical damage to the
nerves are negligible.
In the Hair
Transplantation FUE technique, the physician extracts the follicles from
the donor site. These follicles are then preserved in the special chemical.
Then under the microscope, the physician separates them individually. After
that, the physician uses micro-needles to puncture the recipient site. The
previously separated pieces are then grafted into these tiny holes. This FUE
treatment completes in sessions. It can be completed in a single session but
some surgeries can be completed in multiple sessions. This depends on the
number of grafts to be moved. In a single session of surgery, usually 2000 to
3000 grafts are moved. And if more grafts are required, as with the more bald
area, then the surgery may be completed in multiple sessions.
The patient must take
some precautionary measures before and after the Hair Transplant FUE method.
He must avoid alcohol drinking and cigarette smoking. The alcohol can cause
bleeding problems and nicotine in the cigarette can cause blockage of blood
supply to the newly grafted follicles. The patient should avoid the direct
exposure of sunlight to the operated site. The cleansing of the operated site
should be done after a few days of surgery but only with the physician’s
prescribed shampoo. The touching of the operated site can cause bleeding
problems. Similarly, the patient should not take strenuous exercise immediately
after the surgery, but light exercise is advised. The person returns to normal
routine work, usually 2 days after treatment. The cost of surgery also varies
depending upon the number of factors like the skill of the physician, the
number of grafts to be removed, location of the clinic and number of sessions
followed up in surgery. The normal cost of a single session ranges from 75000
Pak Rupees to 150000 Pak Rupees. But the multiple session surgery may reach up
to 300000 Pak Rupees. If you are looking for the best Fue hair restoration
