Hair Plantation Treatment
The persons who are suffering from hair loss or thinning
problems and are becoming bald can undergo hair plantation treatment to
restore their original scalp beauty. In this modern world, where the treatment
of most diseases is present, the treatment for baldness is also present for
people with inherent pattern baldness or other factors for losing or thinning
hair like stress. In the past, people did not even think of undergoing surgery
like this but modern and advanced research and experiments have enabled the
person to undergo the procedure and restore their original and natural look.
Baldness is an inherited disease, though it can occur because of some other
psychological factors or because of some treatment like chemotherapy. Though
some people look more attractive with their partial or full shaved scalp yet
some people bother it the most and want to restore their natural look. For
these, the transplantation process is an ideal treatment to fulfil their
desire. Also, the researchers have shown that some people lose their
self-confidence because of baldness and are going into depression for this only
reason. For these individuals, this procedure is a blessing and they must
undergo the surgery to return to their normal state of mind.
There are many hair plantation treatments available for patients suffering from baldness. These
procedures include the Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT), Follicular Unit
Extraction (FUE), Hybrid, Laser, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Robotic and
Neograft. These procedures are different, but their goal is the restoration of
hair. Before undergoing any of the above procedures, the physician examines the
patient and regards him whether he fits the criteria to undergo the procedure
or not. The physician usually examines the donor site of the patient. This is
usually the backside of the scalp. If the donor site is enough, then the
physician observes the scalp laxity. A person with a tight scalp is not
considered an ideal person to undergo the procedure. However, the person with
loose scalp laxity is regarded as a fit candidate for the hair plantation
treatment. The physician, before undergoing the surgery, takes some
pictures of the scalp to mark the donor and recipient site. Then practically
marks these on the person's head. The surgeon then applies local anaesthesia to
the scalp. In FUT, the surgeon cuts the linear strip of skin from the donor
area and then seals the incised site with the stitches. Then implants this
strip grafts on the recipient site. This surgery leaves a linear scar ss the
physician makes the incision at the donor area. Although this incised area
heals with fibrosis, the scar is visible even after surgery.
In FUE hair plantation treatment, the physician extracts
the follicles from the donor site. These follicles are then preserved in a
certain chemical. Then using a microscope these follicles are separated
individually. This is a time-consuming process. In the recipient site, the
surgeon makes tiny holes using the micro needles. The separated follicles are
then placed in these tiny holes. Usually, in a single session of surgery, the
grafts to be moved are 2000 to 3000. In a hybrid procedure, the FUT and FUE are
simultaneously performed in one session. The surgeon cuts the strip just like
FUT, extracts the follicles from this and inserts these in the recipient area.
In the Robotic type of surgery, the robots perform the surgery based on ARTAS
and algorithms installed in them. In Laser treatment, the follicles are
extracted and then the laser beam is used to make tiny incisions in the
recipient area. The laser volatiles the cells in the focused area and creates
tiny holes. In these holes, the surgeon places the extracted follicles.
In the Neograft hair plantation treatment, the doctor
uses the wand to extract the follicles. The wand is an instrument that is used
to extract the follicles by using the vacuum creation technique. Similarly,
this wand is also used to place the follicles in the recipient site using the
same principle of vacuum creation. The significance of this technique is that
it gives a minimum chance to damage the follicles. The FUE, Laser, Robotic and
Neo-graft techniques leave no scar, unlike FUT. However, there are some minor
or short-lived problems like itching, bleeding, swelling of follicles known as
folliculitis. There are a few doctors who are skilled to undergo laser and
Neo-graft techniques. Thus, these are uncommon but with few side effects.
However, the other procedures are common and many surgeons are skilled in
these. To get hair transplant in Lahore
Pakistan in Pakistan is economical and one can find the best
