Hair Growth

Hair Restoration means the insertion of hairs in the bald head by surgery or by other way. These are taken from the thick scalp’s parts grafted into the bald part of the head. About 50% female and 60% male are preyed upon by it. Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is a common type of baldness. People use different types of medicine to control it. In 1939, in Japan, the first hair transplantation was achieved. Now, physicians are using advanced techniques for transplantation. Now-a-days, there are two major Types of procedure but only one is performed by the surgeon i.e., Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE).

Hair-Growth

Baldness is created due to different factors i.e., genetics, stress, diet, hormone, medicine and illness. For covering this baldness, various types of treatments are used in common. These methods are Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, 5-Alpha-Reductase Inhibitors, Microneedling, Minoxidil, Stem Cell Therapy, Low Level Laser Light Therapy (LLLT), Fractional Radiofrequency, Electrotrichogenesis and Biofibre hair Implant. The most general method is hair restoration surgery. In hair transplantation, the selection of hairs is done depending on the type's size and quality of it. Then, it is removed from the different parts of the body and selected for the grafting. The bald area is sterilized before grafting. Then a small hole is created by a blade or needle for insertion. Then, the surgical area is covered by bandages.

     Time Requirement.

Several hours and even days are required for the recovery of the surgical part that depends on the condition of the surgical part. After completing the  process, the bandages are removed carefully by the surgeon. This area may swell after surgery. That is why, Triamcinolone is injected to reduce swelling. Different types of painkillers are prescribed by the surgeon to reduce the pain. These pain killers are ibuprofen, minoxidil, antibiotics and anti-inflammatories etc.

   Side Effects.

There are some side effects i.e., bleeding, swelling, infection, abrasion near eyes, deficiency of sense in surgical area, shock loss, irritated scalp, chest pain, dizziness, hand, foot, or breast swelling, irregular heart rate, headaches and sexual dysfunction.

    Advantages and Disadvantages.

There are some advantages and disadvantages of its growth by surgery. These advantages are regrowth of natural hairs, minimum time requirement free pain, cheap and long time. The disadvantages are long waiting, no guarantee, high fees and surgical risk.

    Precaution.

Hair grafting is not better for women having a widespread of its loss, those people who do not have donor hair for transplantation, those people who can form keloid scars after injury or surgery and those people who have lost it due to chemotherapy.

     Conclusion.

From above all Information, it is concluded that it is difficult to say that every method of surgical treatment is affected 100%. Hair grafting does not break the progression of disease during the availability of better cosmetic coverage for bald regions. So, some medicine i.e., minoxidil and finasteride are required to continue after surgery.
