Is traditional fitness dead? Here’s what the future of fitness looks like
Is traditional fitness dead? Is it no more now? What is the future of fitness? I hope all these questions will be hovering in your mind.
Let’s have a discussion
about all this in detail.
But
before moving further, have a look at what is fitness?
Fitness means to be healthy living physically.
When
you can accomplish multiple tasks of the day without feeling laziness and
fatigue, it means you are physically fit. And after that, your body still has
the strength to tackle the emergencies.
What
is traditional fitness?
Traditional fitness means the
traditional way to keep the body healthy. Traditional fitness is
gained by following traditional fitness methods like lifting heavy weight,
pushups, pull-ups in the gym, etc.
Is
traditional fitness dead?
What do you think is no more? Is
it dead now? Is it no more valuable? If yes, then why is it so?
Probably this is because of a
pandemic. There was a huge change in our lifestyle. It has seriously affected
fitness activities. As you know, there was closure in every field of life
because of the lockdown. It brings down the business, education, and many more.
Hence, it affected the fitness industry as well.
During this pandemic, people
could not go to public places and fitness centers to do some physical
activities. Gyms were closed.
Probably this is the reason
for the growing rate of chronic disease and many other issues that people have
stopped working on their fitness.
So, people started fitness
activities at home instead of relying on the gym. They subscribed to fitness
classes and trainers as well.
This can be because of the
laziness during the pandemic that people have skipped traditional fitness now
when the pandemic is over.
Furthermore, they have got a
better alternative to the traditional fitness where they don’t need to wait for
their turn, where they don’t need to bear the struggle of reaching. They don’t
need to follow the timetable.
Future
of fitness:
I think freedom in a particular
task is preferred by a human. And it’s the nature of humans to prefer easily
available opportunities.
Now people have found a good
alternative to traditional fitness training. They want fitness but not now
under the strict rules of someone. They don’t want to follow the tough
schedule. They don’t want to wait for their turn.
I think in the future of fitness,
there will be more app-based workouts. Virtual training would be preferred
instead of the traditional one. Now to remain more fit, health and fitness apps
will be used.
People would prefer to work out
at home according to their own time and according to their own will.
Final
Thoughts:
No matter
whatever is the future of fitness is? But one thing is determined: being
healthy and fit is the priority. No matter through traditional fitness training
or virtual training. But it’s also the reality that people prefer freedom over
doing anything under someone else’s rules.
